More Randomness

Just don't feel like there has been much to talk about lately. I think I've been working too many nights. I'm off for 4 in a row right now though and it feels GREAT!!

I got some cute pictures of the boys last weekend. Max has by dying for "Blendy Pens" which are markers that you can blend together to make cool pictures. I found them at Meijer so of course got some to help keep him busy. I also got some bingo daubbers for Alex. He played with the at Debbie's and loved them. Guess what....Paper isn't as fun as your body!

and then that evening I found some cool clouds outside our house. Had to take a picture or two. Actually there were about 10, but I won't bore you with all of them ;)

We also did some last minute, winter clothes, shopping for Max because there was a 30% off (additional) coupon I had to use as well as $40 in giftcards to Gymobree. They had some pretty cool Halloween pajamas so of course I had to buy the boys matching sets. Max loves it when they wear them together, and Alex just likes whatever Max likes.

Max is doing great at school. He still comes home everyday saying he loves it. When I dropped him off this morning he was pointing out all of his friends to me. I think it was the best decision we ever made for him. He does mention that he misses his friends at Starz, but he goes with me everyday to pick up Alex so he does get to see them. Always tons of hugs!! Yesterday he and his "girlfriend" Megan had eye lock for what felt like 10 minutes. It was intense to watch, and very cute. A little weird though since he's only 4. They hugged like old times though. I am sure he can't wait until winter break so he can go back and play with them all for 2 weeks.

Tim and I are doing great. He got a bike for his 15th anniversary from Marriott so I had to get one for myself. Last night we hooked the bike trailor up and took the kids around the neighborhood. I was so tired when we finished, but at the same time it felt great to do something that was excercise. Now I can hopefully keep at it and make it something that we do regularly.

Off to clean up the house and work on my thank you cards now. I got them started, but I really need to get them finished and in the mail! Hope everyone is having a good week!

Random Stuff

Today is our two week anniversary! Yay!! We made it this far, haha! I found a bunch of pictures on my camera last night when I was uploading Max's first day of school pics so I thought I'd come share some of those in addition to telling you about Max's first day.

I took the night before off so Tim and I could both be there to drop him off. He was pretty excited about going and didn't really seem apprehensive at all. I'm thinking it was definitely harder on me than it was on him. Anyway, we parked at the school and took him in. I got a few pictures of him walking in, and then another by his hook where he keeps his lunch box and backpack. He also has a bin to store his napmat although they don't take naps...just a rest. We took him into the classroom where he went straight to the morning circle. Tim had to chase Alex around while I dropped off all the last minute paperwork. When I went to tell him goodbye all I got was a smile and a "see you later." No hug, kiss, or anything like that. Isn't he supposed to be scared? Or sad?? Guess not :(

Here he is with Alex just before we left the house

And walking across the parking lot

And in circle time

Such a cute kid!! Too bad he's growing up so fast. When I picked him up that first day he said he had a great time and that he made a lot of new friends, but wouldn't name any names or give me any details. He did say that he learned a prayer and talked about Jesus. He is so cute when it comes to Jesus. Must be because he doesn't get any of that info at home, but he is VERY interested!! I'm sure it will make Nana very happy! He did mention that he missed his friends at Starz and couldn't wait to go get Alex so he could see them. He was NOT happy that they were in music class and I wouldn't let him interrupt. He did get to see them all yesterday though and he was so excited!! Lots of hugs all around.

The awesome news is that Connie, the director, said that they can be my backup, keeping him at winter and spring break as well as next summer. I know he'll love that!! When he was crying about missing his friends I asked him if he wanted to quit "Jesus school" (as he calls it) and go back to Starz. He was like, "Heck no!! I just miss them, I don't want to leave my school." He told Tim last night that his new best friend is Zack. That's the first name he's given although he did say he knows everyone's names.

I guess that's about it for school news. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks!

I guess that's about all I have for now, as if there aren't enough pictures. Just wanted to do a quick check in since I haven't updated in awhile. My goal now is to spend the rest of the day picking up the house and finishing the laundry that I started when we got home from the wedding. Talk to you soon!

Not totally wedding related..but

Debbie got some awesome shots of rainbows on her way to MI for the wedding. It stormed good on Thursday and I'm guessing there were several. I even remember looking for one at Tim's mom's house when the sun finally came out.

On the way home from MI back to IN we had some more storming. Tim called me to point out there were rainbows off to the left of us and to show Max. Since he had the camera in his truck I told him to find it and take some pictures. He got a few good shots as well.

Check them out!

If you want to see the rest, just go check them out! Too many to post here obviously but the new ones I just added are amazing!! More to come in a few weeks too. My mom's friend Diane took tons of pictures and dropped a CD off at my mom's yesterday. I just have to wait for someone to come home and send it to me. My professional pictures probably won't be back until the end of September or early October, but I'm really excited for those too. She got some amazing shots of Tim and I at the River Walk that no one else was there for.

Out for now....Sorry to overload you, but I am still so excited that we are finally married and have to share memories from our awesome day!
